Divya Appanna

Divya Appanna is privileged to serve on the City View Charter School Board. A resident of Hillsboro for the past 12 years, Divya brings a wealth of experience from her background as an Engineer with Intel and Microsoft. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to advancing STEM education, particularly in the Hillsboro and Beaverton school districts. Divya has actively contributed to programs such as "Girls Who Code," "PC Pals," and "STEM Like a Girl," which aim to inspire and empower the next generation of female leaders in technology.

As a founding member of the Women at Microsoft Oregon chapter, Divya has been instrumental in organizing initiatives that promote the professional growth of women in technology, providing valuable opportunities for career advancement.

Divya resides in Hillsboro with her husband and daughter, who is a student at City View Charter School. In her personal time, she enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, and gardening. Divya is dedicated to continuing her work alongside fellow board members, educators, and families to enhance the school’s mission and ensure an enriching educational experience for all students.
